The Publika is set amongst the upmarket residential areas of Damansara and Mont Kiara, there’s quite a lot of international residents living in this area and Publika really seems to hit the mark with it’s mix of stores and cafes.
Tourists may not find too much value making the journey from the Golden Triangle to here, but if they are in the area, they’ll surely find it a great destination for quality food and beverage, spacious and relaxed atmosphere plus some art to amuse the mind.
For me personally, there were two highlights to be found here, one was Plan B Roasters and the other was Ben’s Independent Grocers. Which are both of the same creator. There is a Plan B at ground level and also one inside the supermarket, both are incredibly cool and easy places to just relax and enjoy the experience.
What’s unique about Publika, apart from the spaciousness and the art works, is the unique shops and the seemingly artisan like experiences on offer to food and drink lovers.
